I got this new heated bird bath for winter bird use, and they do drink from it. But, ewwwh, the birds have been sitting on it to keep warm, and using the bird path for a heated potty. I guess I can't do much except clean it out every day and refill it. Apparently that tiny brain doesn't store much information about hygiene. (I will spare you the picture of the water.)
