Hi Terese,

I have liquorice basil, which tastes about the same.......

If that will do, just send me a d-mail!

Tuinkabouter,

thank you for the offer, but I want it for attracting butterflies, not for consumption.
I personally do not like the flavor of Licorice.

Hey Guys; Licorice mint is actually Anise Hyssop: Agastache foeniculum and is readily available.

I have Blue Licorice agastache seeds I collected this week. I saw you have your address in the exchange. I can send you some if this is what you are looking for..

Any idea on how it does in dry soil?

I know the "licorice mint" details said it was good for Xeriscaping.

where it will be planted, i will rarely get to water it.

I do love those purple flowers though.

What you would like is Agastache Rugosa - and these are a bit harder to find than some hyssop seeds. I was actually surprised they are harder to find, because they were everywhere a few years ago.

the other day I got a "Gurney's" catalog in the mail.

i noticed "Licorice Mint" so i came into Daves and searched for it -- found it is actually Agastache rupestris "Sunset Hyssop" It has orange flowers.

all the "purple" ones are gorgeous though!!
