Just wanted to let you know that B & B's HALF OFF bulb sale started this morning. (I had called them earlier in the week and asked about the sale and they told me it started Friday so I am correcting myself!)
For those who haven't ordered from them before, they are a very good source for all kinds of bulbs, many just perfect for the cottage garden... I odered Eremurus, Allium and a few daffs from them. All normally very pricey bulbs, but at half off, much more affordable and enjoyable! So don't delay, if you want some!

thanks for the link, ........but no more bulbs for me this yr. I just went to the doctors yesterday for pain I got in my wrist/hand since Thanksgiving and found out it was tendonitis! never had it in my life.
The only things I did on the day before TG was to plant 35 or so saffron crocus bulbs, a crown imperial, a few other things; lots of cleaning; and hacked open two pumpkins to make the pumpkin pies from scratch! I don't know for sure what did it, but I suspect the thick skinned pumpkins :) anyway I still have a few scilla bulbs waiting to be planted so I better not buy any more :))))) I'll browse though that's always fun Thanks again!

.....did I say I was just going to 'browse'....I lied!!!! I guess I'll be planting bulbs (one handed if I have to) until the ground is frozen solid! Had to place an order when I saw my favorite lilium - martagon 'Backhouse' 50% off :)
I noticed alot is selling out fast so anyone interested shouldn't procrastinate
Now it is saying the catalog is closed.. Missed that one :(
