My dad went to an auction over the weekend and picked up a big box full of gardening and herb books. There are so many neat things in it. Among them I found two autographed books, both by Dale Groom. Can anyone give me any information on him? The books are "Month-by-Month Gardening in Texas" and "Texas Gardening Guide". I have enough books to keep me reading for months!

I would expect so. He has been the last word on gardening in the Dallas area forever. A couple of others are on the scene but don't carry his prestige. He had a radio call-in program and I think he retired from that a couple of years ago.
He doesn't pitch products. Just information.
