Last winter I ordered many seed packets from them and received them in good shape. I lost my seed list which identifies the packets with just numbers on them with the names of the seeds. I was 1/3 into labeling the packets when I was taken ill and misplaced the seed list. I contacted them and they were very sympathetic and generous and sent a seed list. Unfortunately, in transferring me from one member to another apparently things got mixed up and I received the (61st) seed list of '07 to '08.)
If anyone has last year's ('06 to '07) seed list would you d-mail me, please? I would be happy to pay postage plus.
Edited to say, happily I've been accommodated and no longer need more offers. I thank you all who responded, especially Baa.

Anybody have a 60th Scottish Rock Garden Society seed list?'
I think I have one from last year hanging about I'll have to go and have a look for it though :)
Baa! So nice to see you on. I've been taken care of by, of all persons, one from New Zealand! She will have it in the mail tomorrow. I haven't seen you on for so long... How are you doing? I hope your and yours are well.
I don't know how to close out a thread, except to go up and edit it with a comment maybe? Could you advise me?
Carol
OK Carol-(or anyone else)
1.)Do you use troughs more than in ground-my ideas are for a slope on my property that is already quite sandy, we have a lot of large glacial rock debris about and I would like to add some of these into the mix with our Kubota tractor (they are not on the slope right now , and these are lg so for aesthetic purposes really) in terms of the "lean" soil what would I add to what is already there?
2.) What are some good starter plants-good from seed preferably?
Thanks much!-Kath
How funny that I ended up on thid thread-I thought I was on the one we connected on the other day!LOL!-but I went to the bottom of the page after I hit send and saw "Hillside Gardening" I'll have to check it out! For now-I need to go help chop up de firewood, mon! (a little late, I know!) Unfortunately, I have a chest that gets in the way-but I'm still a good wood hauler!-Kath
Kath, I'm so glad you remembered my joke about the wood- carrying. I'm laughing so hard right now I can hardly type... My backspace key is burning up! LOL hhahahahaha
On troughs, I know it isn't pertinent, but I put my small troughs up on my porch on tables to have the best view... eye level. The plants are so small and fine I think that's the only way to view them, but my troughs are small enough to lift myself. In such small space I also have the luxury of buying small lava rock (a little larger than raisin bran) to make my mix lean. I use 1/3 river sand 1/3 potting soil and 1/3 lava rock with just a little of my compost (a handful in a gallon) for my troughs.
Good luck on the ol' woodpile. hahahaa
At least when it's cold out they're well padded under my twenty layers! My mom had the hugest bazookas-when she had her mastectomy 5 years ago(just one)-she was going to have the other reduced and they were going to take some fat from her middle area to build a new boob-she said she was going to get a tummy tuck and a boob lift at the same time! Unfortunately, she ended up instead with a crazy staph infection and pneumonia instead. I think she had enough after that and decided to stay as is.
The troughs on tables makes so much sense! Perhaps I will try some troughs and just use some larger small plants on the slope. Thanks for the mix recipe-wow that is very lean
The wood is going well! I love getting wood and we do it all together-Eli is an expert wood splitter! Nev is already 6'1", and he's more of an intellectual, but he's learning to use that body of his and is very willing. Eli has always been very physically agile. Good helpers!-Kath
I think Eli and I would get along very well. I remember spitting rounds with wedges and maul back in my teens and 20's. He and I would probably look at a round debating the best split to avoid knots to start with. I now use a gas splitter but he knows what I'm talking about.
Oh yes, he does-he's like his daddy in that respect!!! I truly prefer stacking, because I feel as though I'm wasting my energy!!
