best bird seed for songbirds?

I seem to be attracting a lot of little birds lately, which I like to watch, but I can hear songbirds in the area and would like to attract them to the feeders as well. What should I put out for them? I am just using a wild birdseed mix right now. Also, does anyone know where the best prices are? I have found that the seed is a bit expensive and right now I am being eaten out of house and home...lol.

You may not find this as a mix but can put it together yourself.

What stores do you have in your area that carry both those bird seeds?

Along with everything else bird seed prices have risen. :-(
