Hi, Luckycharm_1 - I'm so sorry about your silkies! Foxes are evil!

I am also sorry that your Prime Minister was not reelected. Howard was a very good friend to the USA. My husband is a retired soldier, and our family has really appreciated the support from your government.

I'm so sorry about your silkies, too. Believe it or not, I live in a densely urban area and we, too, have trouble with foxes. They are very smart, and, as we know, chickens really aren't (shhhh...don't tell them!). Your election results have been heavily reported here, as a prelude, I suspect, to our own elections, and given the Iraq connection. Here's hoping for world peace, honest and smart leaders, and may all your eggs hatch and be girls!!

i hope so to so next year i will have some matur women silkies to lay eggs. the prime minister elect over here is a puppet of the labour gouvernment so it dose not look good are you happy to get rid of bush or is he a good leader be cause somepeople hate him and some people dont he was not very popular when he came here i dont realy have a opion pf him as he is not our leader but it was all in the papers when air force one broke the tarmac when landing dam thats a big plane

luckycharm_1 I'm so sorry to hear about your silkies. Hope he doesn't give you anymore problems. Do you have anyway to have the fox trapped and moved or....?

londonderry, Australia

no it is more likely to be a pack of about 20 foxes last time they paid a visit they cleaned me out

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Oh my word. Around here I only see one at a time strolling through but I think the coyotes have cleaned out many of them.

londonderry, Australia

no they relesed i think it was 18 in the early 1900s now there are hundreds of thousands and if they get into a chicken pen they will clean u out but on the odd auction they dont like me

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Where foxes native to your area at all? Or did some agency foolishly introduce them to eradicate some other problem varmint?

londonderry, Australia

we dont have native rabits or foxes but now we do thousands of them that and kangaroos they can be a problem with vegie patches

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

How high of a fence do need to keep out the kangaroos?

londonderry, Australia
