I though for sure we would get some rain out of this latest system .. not one drop here in Summerville.

Sigh .. missed again
We got rain down here in Johns Island, X! Eleven drops on my windshield! Pretty sure it was rain, but to be honest, I've forgotten what rain looks like... Rob Fowler said tonight this could go down as the driest November ever...pearls of wisdom!
We got two solid 11 rain drop events down here. I transplanted something last weekend and the ground was just dust.
i collected about 3 gal. of rainwater from the roof for my orchids on sunday
Funny how it rains in one spot and another 2 blocks away is dry. We haven't had any rain drops here but it has been sort of wet. It is more like a really heavy mist; never enough to get more than the surface of the soil moist. The dog comes in with muddy feet but when I try to dig it is bone dry.
Finally we got some rain and it rained thru the night. Slowly but still not enough.

Our rain event was in the 11 drop category. It happened a few times over the day but didn't add up to even an eighth of an inch. What we didn't get in rain we got in humidity.
Apparently it "rained" overnight at my house. Less than 1/10".
We got spit on again today, but nothing measureable. Moved some ferns out of the woods to a new garden. They were in bone dry dust in the woods, and I planted them in bone dry dust in the new garden. They probably won't take. I watered them in, which probably shocked their systems and made them so confused they'll think dying is easier than figuring it out...
Same here. Not even a 20th of an inch. :(
we had enough to make noise on the roof today.... i'm ready for either torrential downpours or it to finally clear up. i has been this dreary gray since the weekend
