What to do with leftover ham?

Any suggestions. I know there are some great cooks out there.
I would like a good ham and bean soup recipe, not sure what type of bean to use, split pea, navy, white bean.
Maybe a ham and potatoe casserole recipe.
Just hate to throw things, the dogs love it, but I know there is some way to get one last hurrah out of ham.
