I have some cuttings that someone wants who lives in Pa. Is it safe to ship them now?
Thanks for any advice and opinions.

Can cuttings be shipped to Northern states now?
I live in PA and we are supposed to get down into the 20's tonight, then 30 is the low tomorrow night, then we will be back up to slightly warmer temps by Monday. I would say if you could get them out on Monday that they should be fine.
Yes, ship early in the week for sure, you don't want the package sitting around on the weekend... and make sure they are well wrapped or lots of packing peanuts for insulation.
Thank you both, Mamabird and ZZsbabiez. I'll send them out on Monday, packed well for the trip.
For the ones I have to send to cold areas, I get a little bigger box.. just to be sure.. the more insulation the better!
I'll do that too. I went to weather.net to take a look at next week's weather in Pa and they are going to get some rain and low temps.
I received cuttings a few weeks ago that came a day ealier than I thought. I didn't check the mail that day and they stayed in the mailbox overnight with temps in the 20's. Thankfully they were well wrapped in newspaper and survived.
I would say to just be sure to insulate them well and send priority.
Good point about sending them priority mail.
