Anybody use M&M baking bits?

Last year when I made my traditional gingerbread boys for the holidays, I had some mini-packages of mini-M&M's left over from Halloween, and I used the blue and brown ones for their little eyes. I loved the results, better than using currants like I always did. But now I'm having a hard time finding mini-M&M's. I just saw on the internet that M&M makes baking bits, and it looks like they may be the same as the mini-M&M's in the illustration. I DON'T want to go to WalMart today, I think it will be madhouse (the day after Thanksgiving) but I'm impatient to find out!!!! Has anyone used these baking bits, and are they just like mini-M&M's? Wonder how many bags I would have to buy to get enough blues and browns!
