Thanksgiving Thank you!

Pelzer, SC(Zone 7b)

Just wanted to post a quick but heartfelt "Thank You" to MaVie and everyone who advised me on my first attempt at "brining" a turkey. It was well worth the (actually minimal) extra effort. The turkey was the moistest (is that even a word?) and most flavorful ever. I will never cook a turkey the "old way" again. And, to have a 14 lb turkey ready to eat in 3 hours was great!

Now, anyone got any tips on cooking a goose?? My brother loves duck, so I thought I'd try a goose as something a little different.

Thanks again, all,

Margo
