Blooms opened after being chopped down!

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

These are on branches that are in buckets in greenhouse. Did not have the heart to strip off the buds. I did stip off mostof the leaves but left the buds in hopes that they would open. I left all the buds on and others are going to open too.

This is Isabella

Oooh I have a Charles Grimaldi cutting. Thank you for showing me what it will (hopefully) look like one day.

Oh I bet it smells wonderful in there!
I love the smell in my GH and I don't have any open blooms at the moment.. it's just so fresh and green and clean! LOL

Jane,

Mine was a cutting last year...

ZZ,

My brugs have not been fragrant except for Dr Seuss. I don't know why. I am sad about that though, as everyone talks about the fragrance...

Bev,

Thanks! Isabella has done great for me!

Robyn,

I had my first greenhouse last year when I was 58. It was a much smaller one and made of PVC pipe and sheet plastic. I thing it was 10x10. This year DH retired and made me a REAL one... 14 X21, Metal frame and poly panels with a real door and window. You can see pics of it on the greenhouse forum... I am guessing you are much younger, so your day will come!!! LOL just be patient...

Ohhhhh ... so pretty! Nice pics!

Thanks, Teresa!

Thanks so much for thinking me so younger, I'm a little over 4 years younger than you. I only started wishing for a greenhouse last year. I will probably make one this year if my job doesn't keep me out all hours of the day and night.

They are very beautiful flowers, congrats.

Is this their first year blooms? How many flushes have they had?

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

ZZ,

Isabella and Chas G bloomed all spring and summer as did MM, Dr. Suess and many unknowns. I don't know if you could say they had large flushes, as they are fairly small plants. But they had several blooms at once many times. Especilly Isabella... Here is one of hers in Sept.
