Bird Id needed

Melbourne, FL

These flew over in a flock of around a dozen, but I have cropped to see if anyone can ID these. My only guess is ducks.

They're not ducks--too big. The picture is not too clear but they look like Anhingas to me.

Ned do you think their juveniles?

Looks like theres quite a bit of white on the neck area.

Yep...looks like only one adult-plumage bird.

Cormorants fly with head/neck slightly elevated.

My original thought was Cormorants, but the head seemed all wrong. Guess I better start going with my first instinct. Thanks for the help.

Take a look at the female Anhinga. Question: Were they flying way up high? We have Cormorants around here and to me they do not look like Cormorants.

A "flock" of Anhingas would be extraordinary outside of migration
(Melbourne Anhingas are resident)

Seem to have orange gular pouches

Birds seem heavy-bodied, short-tailed and their tail tips appear black, not tan

Most juvenile Double-crested Cormorants have very pale chest and upper belly

They were a distance away, but not very high up.
