CLOSED: offer of purple datura seed

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I have a lot of seeds and more pods on the plant. This has been a blooming machine all summer long and still has 5 or 6 blooms on it right now. I have enough for about 8 trades or sase. I am open for any trades, tempt me. SASE will have to be with an extra 17 cents because the seeds make it a bit thick.

Edited to say, please be sure to enclose a note to say what it is that you want. I have some Morning Glory seeds going as well.

You have some nice things, but I think that I'll take a rain check on a trade for now. We're going to be amending one of the beds, and creating another. And if that isn't enough we plan on tearing down some old outbuildings which should free up some more gardening space. But shhhhh don't tell dbf that's why we're tearing down the buildings. lol

Georgetown, IN(Zone 6a)

Hahaha, count on me to not tell, LOL
I will send postage then, If that OK.

If you have seeds left, I'd love to try them. Let me know, I'll send proper envelope and postage after we stuff ourselves, drive ourselves ragged on the hwy, shop all the cool stuff on Black Friday, and flop to sleep it all off, LOL!
Happy Thanksgiving, all.

One of my yellows is a triple. I don't have any seeds for that one at this moment, but I do have for the double, as well as plenty from the purple, which is a double.

Anne

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Thanks, did you check to see if you wanted anything off of my trade list?

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

howdy from East Texas;

i would love some of your purple datura and morning glory seeds. i could send you some formosa lily seeds. these are really pretty, white lilies, grows about 5 ft tall. looks kinda like a big easter lily. they can also naturalize. according to the info i have read, they can actually go from seed to bloom in one year. i know my father had a couple in his pasture that just popped up year before last and then last year there were about 7 more that all bloomed!

tracie

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

That would be cool. Is your address in the exchange?

Anne

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Should I just send you a sase I can get one out today, did you find anything that you wanted from my list?
Lea

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

I would love some datura seeds. I can send sase unless you would like to trade for : cosmos, 4'oclocks, marigolds, moon flowers, and even some crepe myrtles, but I know how much luck I'll have with the crepe myrtles.

Please send your address as I still don't know my way about the site yet.
Thanks, Lorraine

This is my first year at it. I haven't so far and plan to start planting in January. However, my plants are still blooming in my greenhouse. In fact I just brought in some seeds off the yellow one this afternoon.

Anne

Lufkin, TX(Zone 8b)

Tracie (aggiegirl)-
you don't need to store them in the fridge, just a cool dry place should do-I planted some of the white Datura this last spring around mother's day and I had just left the pod in my closet all winter B4 planting, this year I'm leaving all of my seeds in the garage-cool, but not COLD. Hope this helps....

That's cool. Thank you, AuntAnne.

I'm mailing off the SASE, AuntAnne. I'm enclosing 4 stamps - is that enough?

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

It only needs 58 cents. That's way too much.

Anne

Chesapeake, VA

Well, it's already in the mail. So, use the extra stamps for something nice!

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Tgg
I put morning glory seeds in with the dat seeds. I'm getting so confused with this lol. Pass them to someone else if you don't want/need them.
