I was surfing the net today, and my daughter happened to see a photo of some Royal Palm turkeys. She really like them, so I showed her a photo of some blue ones. She REALLY liked those, soooooo...now I'm trying to find someone in my area that has them. I'd like to get some eggs in the spring, if possible. I hate shipping eggs, and would be willing to drive an hour or so out of the way to get some. I live in East Texas north of Houston.

Looking for Blue Royal Palms
Hey...I am looking for those too..I may end up getting baby turkeys instead..lol...I need to call a fellow that has Royal Palm turkeys in Houston..cuz I seen them with my eyes..very beautiful turkeys....
Ooh, if you do find who has some, let me know! I'm also trying to work on Blue Slates. I have a mature tom, and thought I had found him a girl, but it turned out to be another tom. GRRR I also have (hopefully) a pair of Rio Grandes. I got all three last month in Conroe, all still pretty young, so I can't really tell yet with the Rios.
I did read that if you crossed Royals with a blue, you might get some with the blue markings, but I really don't need more mixed breeds. :-/
Okay will let ya know how my search goes for these Blue turkeys...lol...waiting for phone call from my friend but he is out of town for turkey day...LOL...

Does sand hill have them?
Their website is down right now...wish I could check. I don't remember them offering this color.
They do but ya have to be on a list to get them ahead of time..and pay for them as well ahead of time..
