Howling...

When we leave the house Sandi sits in the kitchen and howls and howls---you'd think someone was beating her---in the summer the neighbors can hear her a block away cause the windows are open. When we got Klick, we thought it might help since she'd have company--LOL---she has taught Klick to howl along with her. Is there any way to stop this?

Brings me to my next question---DH works 12 hour shifts and if I take Klick out Sandi howls at us, which DH doesn't appreciate if he's trying to sleep during the day--what's the secret to walking 2 dogs at the same time?? Although, apparently, it is very entertaining to my Mom, who watches out the window and laughs at me----
