During our annual Wurstfest week vacation, we took advantage of the proximity to visit some of the hill country wineries.
Dave @ Circle S Winery in Sugar Land sold me a copy of "The Wine Roads of Texas" that lists over 80 of the nearly 150 in the state. He then said, "Now, give it back!". I was too surprised not to comply. He signed the pages that described Circle S, handed it back, and said,"Now your mission is to get all the rest of the signatures."
Well we tried - went to 7, but were only able to get two signatures, but did bring back more bottles of great Texas wine - lol. We need more wine racks/coolers.
One of the more interesting was a Christmas wine for Fredricksburg Winery. We will be serving it warm at our annual Christmas party at Bubba's on Dec 23rd. Y''all come.
TX Wine Tour
Texas changed their wine shipping regulations three years ago. Two years ago I shipped Spicewood Vineyards Rose wine to several people for Christmas. They really enjoyed it.
