flowers for 11/18

Our cooler temps and then yesterday's all day shower seems to have perked everyone up. I've been laid out with the flu for a week now, so the blooms have been a nice pick me up. Enjoy. Crown of Barbados

Ocean Spray. This one will last for 2 days.

The rain kind of beat some of them up, but beauty always shines through anyway. Butterfly, one of another set of twins today.

Couldn't get a good pic of this one. But a peach/salmon colored double that we couldn't figure out the name of. This one is prolific and along with my 2 capitalios and Cecelia, has bloomed non stop all summer long.

Elephant Ear, I think. Has also been a good bloomer as well.

And one of my newer hibbies "Fire and Ice", I almost overlooked her. We had a threat of frost the other night so DS came over and crowded everything against house, so it was almost hidden.

Peach Capitalio

Ok, not technically a hibiscus but it was blooming too. So you get to see almost all of my babies today. At least I didn't go take another pic of Dr. Suess. lol

Nice babies. I'm counting down until spring and warm temps again.

You know, we complain about the heat and non stop days over 100 but there's not enough money in the world to pay me to live where it snows and has non stop days under 32 (or 0) lol. Some of my babies that I had when I was married (ugh) bloomed in the garage all winter long.

You're welcome to enjoy mine till yours bloom again.

I had a new bloom from Antique Treasure but probably won't get around to getting it off the camera and uploaded for a couple days, hopefully by then I'll have a few more too!

I had my first from Gator Pride this last week, but was so sick with the flu didn't get it posted. But oh well, I saw it. lol
