*Waving back at Nadine*

I sewed a pillow the other day...the first thing I've sewn in about 3 years. I don't do it too often. I'm more into crocheting, and I still take forever on that! LOL

You do good work moodene. That's a nice jacket. I've been altering clothes for years, and haven't wanted to sew forever now. But i've been getting in the mood like no other.

I want to make some purses, a lap top bag, and a few skirts. Don't know where i'll find the time,

I love those roosters on that fabric LOL

I made some fabulous chicken themed aprons 50's style aprons for gifts this holiday. QueenB ~ I love to sew but gave up on crochet. I got a terrible stiff crotchet finger, like a hook on a pirate, lol!

I also made my mom a lap quilt last christmas out of a 1950's table cloth that freatured blue and green chickens ( those fabulous 50's off teal and green) frying eggs, cooking, using salt, etc. I had bought the tablecloth on ebay and it turned out to be very stained, so I ripped it all up into peices and used it as the accent fabric on the lap quilt. It ended up being great! I love chicken themed crafts, lol!
