Does anyone belong to the Wilton forum?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Greetings all,

In my quest to find recipes, I've stumbled upon
and joined the Wilton forum. For whatever reason,
I cannot see my posts, though.

That is not as big a concern to me right now as is
my question for anyone on the forums.

I noticed that when someone mentions a great dish or
recipe, there are pages and pages following the post requesting
the recipe, but the main person almost always asks them
to post their email address on the site, then they will send
it to them.

Could anyone from the forums help me to understand why
the recipe isn't just posted? Instead, everyone's email addresses
are posted for all to see. One recipe has seven pages of request
after request. It would have taken but a few minutes to post the recipe
for everyone.

Also, it is my understanding there was a member of substantial
contribution who sadly, has passed on. Her family has requested
that her recipes not be shared again, nor requested. Now while I
can understand they do not wish to be contacted in her parting, I
can't help but to wonder why the recipes were not posted, which would
avoid contacting the family. Some new members are not aware of
her passing and still ask, as they missed the notice of her passing
and request by the family.

Could someone with experience on the forum or even not, help to
offer some insight? I've asked on the site, but for whatever reason,
my posts are not showing up.

Just jabbering,
KM
