Looking for a source for this plant.
Tropiflora recently had it, (a small plant for $7.50)but they are sold out!
There's one available on ebay, but the price is too high.
Anyone know of another vendor that might carry this?

Source for Pitcairnia/Pepinia sanguinea
Micahel's Bromeliads lists it on his site. www.michaelsbromeliads.com Click on "Our Collection" and then "See Our Collection" to bring up a pdf file of everything he has. I' visited his greenhouses last July and it's amazing. A very nice guy and reasonable on his plants. I'm sure you can email him or give him a call to find out what size they are and such. Good luck!

I have also purchased from him before. He does sell retail. Be sure to request a catalog with your order!!! He was very diligent returning phone calls about my order,, and everything was shipped promptly and he has great prices!!

Yup, he sells retail and he shipped one to my house before. The only thing I can think of is that the weather might be too cool for shipping so you'd have to wait until spring, but he did list the plant as one he has in his collection.
