todays new seedling

this is a cross of H. Smokehouse X H. Rum Runner, seed planted 3-6-07
7 + inch flower, golden yellow overlaid with brown.(pic doesn't capture the color very good) nice thick texture, upright facing flower and well branching plant.

Hey Kyle this is a nice one is it the first time you have posted a picture of it. It is a shade of my favorite colors it really draws my eye when I see one like that. Do you have a lot of browns..............Gene

Today was the first time it has bloomed.Looks yellow till you turn it sideways then looks brown.Digital pics never get the colors right. I am definately gonna keep this one.Nice sturdy plant, many buds coming.
As for browns, thats mostly what I was shooting for on crosses. I used Old Medley and tigerama a lot and Chocolate high also. So far I have had some nice browns show up. heres a pic of this plant #683 and another I posted a while back. shows the size of the plants, the yellow was planted 3-6-07 and the brown was 1-3-07

That's cool Kyle. Have you noticed any change in the colors like it's Rum Runner parent?
I like the way it holds that flower up.

will check on it today to see if it changes any.
