Can anyone ID this variegated brug that just started blooming. Sory for the blur. Getting dark out.
Variegate brug id
well i want to know also ..........LOL
Maya ?
only if it goes from white to peach I think it would be called maya I only see a white bloom..
My sunset/maya blooms are 13 days old now and are orange. They sure last a long time.
Where did you get it? Maby you could email the person you got it from?
does snowbank stay white, or does it change? if not, it may be snowbank. i think miner's claim is variegated also...
They dont look like Maya and the leaves dont look hairy enough for Snowbanks..whatever it is I would love a cutting..lolol...does it grow pretty fast?..I know snowbanks is a slow grower around here...another note is that my maya doesnt have such coloration as that one does...Judy
Can't be Miners Claim, it has pink flowers.
Can't be Jamie, since that one has yellow flowers.
Nice variegation..
It is getting some peach color on the topside.
I have only had it a couple of months. I just got it a couple of months ago from another member but he said it came unlabeled in a trade.
well then i think it is maya
yeah.........
How do the blooms hang? A picture of the whole bloom, calyx and all might help. It's possible if the blooms are hanging totally vertical, that it could be Peaches & Cream. If they nod, it would probably be Maya. When you said that the tops of the blooms are getting some peach, that sounds more like Peaches & Cream, but would need more pictures.
I see some bend or nodding in the blooms from the peduncle down to the bottom of the calyx. That would say to me that it is a Maya/Sunset. These two are probably the same brug. If there was no bend or nodding at all and the bloom was totally vertical, it would be a Peaches & Cream. Now..if the nod in your picture is caused by something holding the bloom out at that angle, like another branch, it could be a P&C. Here is a picture of my "Maya" that you can use to compare. Since you have the brug right there, it would be easier. I don't have P&C. It was to hard for me to grow here.

P&C is suposedly a versicolor which would have the neck of the corolla tube longer than the calyx as it is in bl's pic. It "should" be pendent-flowered :-)
Maya seems to have the calyx about the same length as the neck.
I agree Alistair, but I question the lack of the flower being pendent in her #4 picture. That one threw me a bit.
It's beautiful no matter who it is!
Yes Shirley me too! Maybe its neither LOL
I agree with ZZ.......................lol it is wonderful...
I would love to see a full flush picture on a Peaches & Cream brug. I love the way versicolor's flush all at once and that would have to be a pretty sight.
