Favorite Thanksgiving Desserts

Lets do a desserts only thread...I'll start

Strawberry Salad (not really a salad,but a luscious dessert)

1st layer-
1 stick butter melted
1/2 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels

press into 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min---cool

2nd layer-
1 8oz pkg softened cream cheese
1 8oz tub of cool whip
1 cup of sugar

beat on low speed until well mixed
pour over crust

3rd layer-
2 small pkgs of strawberry jello
1 cup of boiling water
2 16oz pkgs of frozen sliced strawberries- partially thawed (drain 1 pkg)

dissolve jello in boiling water, add fruit, congeal slightly and add to top of pie
refridgerate until set
