Low-light fragrants

New York, NY

I'd like to grow some fragrant plants in a small, windowless (it has a vent) bathroom in my apartment. I can put them under fluorescents. Preferably something not too big. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill

Bill, try posting this in the Indoor Gardening and Houseplants Forum. You might get better responses there.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Hi Bill,
you can consider sweet alyssum which is an annual. Also some bulbs(double daffodils, hyacinths..etc) that are fragrant you can treat as annuals. If you pick bulbs that bloom different times of the year--you will have fragrance all year round. I would be cautious with perennials as they can catch many diseases in the area that you described. Also you can consider orchids but I don't know which ones are fragrant. My few cents worth.
