Does anyone know what plants are safe to plant in a goat pasture, and what plants should be specifically avoided?

We lost a mature wether to pokeberry (pokeweed) according to the vet - I thought it was bloat but the vet seemed sure it was pokeweed poisoning. I am vigilant now to chop out any bird-sown pokeberry plants in our pasture. Although the article suggests that goats that are well fed won't bother with toxic plants, our goat was very well fed and supposedly this was the reason for his death.
A lot of the plants listed are toxic to humans as well. HTH
