I bought this one and it had no tag. I thought it looked like either Autumn or Prince of Orange. I am leaning toward Autumn but hoping its the other LOL! Can someone tell me?
Philodendron ID needed Please?
Gee I thought someone would have an answer for this one right away. I know it has to be something common. The leaves have red veins on the backside..does that help any? It looks bad when I bought it -I'm trying to save it :)

Looks more like Prince of Orange to me but I really don't know for sure!
On the Prince of Orange and Autumn one of them the lobes are more rounded- less lobed. The other were wider and more pointed, kinda ruffled. But can't seem to rememember for sure which was which. I think you have Autumn there. Boy I'll bet all that indecision was a great help!LOL
:) I have one or two that look just like yours and I don't have a clue which they are. I know a couple of years ago I bought a few labeled Prince Of Orange (the tags got thrown away) and then I bought a couple more that looked similar but had no label other than hybrid philodendron! I am real bad about identifying from photo's.
This one could very well be one of the unnamed McColley hybrids that made it out into the market. There were a good number of them that Bamboo Nursery sold after they had selected the ones they wanted to patent. I have knowledge about this because I worked at Bamboo Nursery for a while. They kept very scanty hybridization records so there is virtually no way of knowing the parentage of most of the plants they developed.

Thank you everyone, I appreciate all your help. I guess I will just call it a no ID (noid) orange lol, and decide to like it anyways. It is starting to look a little better now. I put it in my bathroom that has a big skylight and it seems to like it there. Happy Holidays everyone :)
