Looking for Viola sp. 'Freckles'seeds
I have the Freckles Voilet & the Cucullata alba,and many other un-named violets.
I have bright Pink,Yellow,Yellow with black viened throat,White,Purple and one That is white with Purple throat.(looks like a orchid).
I didn't save the seeds last year.(They could cross,I've had that happen once with the violets.)
But I will have them this spring, or I could trade plants.
What do you have?

Oh Sari - I would love to have some violet seeds too (or even little plants!) They're my favorite flowers! Email me and I'll send you my list of what I've got to trade. (Also send me any wish list you might have as not everything I have to trade is on my list).

In case anyone is interested, Jill Ann Williams (the editor of the journal) wrote up an article on the violet pieces I've been collecting -- I believe it's on page 9 or 12 of the journal. Also, if you become a member, (free), Jeff will send you free violet seeds when they become available.

i have a picture in the photo thread of the lil guy im looking for.
Since so many like violets let me tell you what happen to me... I breed on the common purple violets to one of the common white violets. I came up with a violet that had two purple pedals and 2 white pedals. It was very pretty. The plant was still pretty small when this now former friend kept bugging me for a start of it. Well I let him divide it and he killed my half. :(((( Right after that he beat me out of some money and we haven't talked since and I haven't been able to get the cross to work the same again...
