New Kitten Pics
awwwww----just adorable.
Thanks :-) I'm glad you enjoyed the pics.
Thanks for posting more pics of your adorable kittens, Ginny. They sure are fun. I have kittens now too, four, just not a happy story like yours. I'm going out to visit mine, and check on them now.
Oh my - four kittens? All at once? LOL Although I suppose anything more than two is pretty insane in many peoples' eyes :-) Would you mind sharing their story Brenda, and do you have any pictures? I'd love to see them.
Ginny
Very cute and I bet they are into everything! I had a good chuckle with Katie up the screen under the drapes.LOL
Ann
I really fear for your window screen, Ginny.
If you want the story and the pics, I have it in my diary under New patrol - cats. I have been down this road before. Must find that sign along the road that says DROP CATS HERE and take it down.
Echoes - bless you for taking care of those poor cats; you have a heart of gold. The inhumanity of people who dump animals is astounding.
Joanne
They are most definitely into everything now Ann! When they first came home they would "discover" something new about every couple of days. Now I think it's about every couple of hours :-)
Brenda, I'm so glad that Mamama and her kids found you. At least now they have a chance at surviving the winter. Like Joanne said, bless you for being so kind.

Thanks Joanne and Ginny. I did enjoy watching them play out there today. Just a good thing I love cats, I guess.
Aww so cute.
We had kittens at Christmas time one year and one managed to crawl up the tree and poke its head. out. They took off a lot of the ornaments too. That was a long time ago and of course we now have the puppies. They are almost ready to go. Someone is coming to look at them tomorrow. Kids, puppies, kittens, and plants great combination.
Bea
Here's a cute puppy story for those who are more dog people than cat people.
My friend had bought her family a Dalmation puppy in the summer one year. Rudy's first Christmas was hilarious. Everyone was upstairs on the main floor one evening, and the decorated Christmas tree was down in the basement in the family room and, apparently, so was Rudy.
They heard a thump and a clatter and poor Rudy came flying up the stairs with the lights wrapped around him and the still attached Christmas tree dragging behind him. I guess the look of sheer panic on his face for being a "baaaaad dog!" was so priceless that everyone just started laughing and couldn't stop. That is now one of their most precious Christmas memories.

that one belongs in the 1001 dalmation movie - i can just picture it
:D Oh Ginny what an adorable bunch you have (and very busy too by the looks of it ;).
I hope you have your Christmas tree hanging from the ceiling.
Actually Pam, we just put our tree up in the front room on Sunday to let it relax its branches - we'll be decorating this coming Saturday. I guess a big green picky thing that doesn't taste all that good isn't very interesting :-) The kittens spent about 5 minutes pulling on the branches and having a little chaw and then lost interest.
Smokey and Tipper know about Christmas trees though, and you should have seen how puzzled they looked when I didn't start decorating it right away. Saturday should be a blast! We do have a very good sturdy stand from Lee Valley that we're crossing our fingers can stand up to kitten shenanigans.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Christmas pics Ginny! I have a feeling you will be kept busy. ;)
