Problem entry in my tradlist

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

I am starting to translate my Gardenweb tradelist into DG format.

I want to post Lilium martagon 'Brocade' (preferred) or Lilium 'Brocade'.
This is the best I can do at my listing:

Am I missing something? (wouldn't be the first time)
It's certainly understandable that DG can't have every cultivar listed in it's data base, but how do I get the "Did you mean" stuff deleted?

Although Brocade is by no means an obscure cultivar, I would post ones that would be. So simply adding Brocade to the DG data base would not be an option. I could list them in the special notes section, but then that wouldn't be searchable.

So is there a solution to getting the "Did you mean" out of there?

You are right that if you add an unknown cultivar then it is not searchable, and as far as I know the only solution would be to add the plants you're looking for to Plantfiles.

As far as the "did you mean' stuff, it's only visible to you when you are managing your tradelist. If you just view (rather than edit) your list, you won't see the "did you mean" message. But again, I know of no way to get rid of that when you are editing other than to add the plant to Plantfiles (and ususally I don't know enough about a plant that's new to me to do that).

So, don't know if this helps, but you could always list the specific plants or type of plants you're looking for under one that's in Plantfiles just like you have done. It might be less likely that other people are going to have the really, really obscure stuff anyway for trading, but it never hurts to try. :)

Bummer. But I didn't realize the "Did you mean" wouldn't show up when others look at the list. That does fix half of my concerns. At least I can list my obscurities on the page, and people will see them if they go to that page. Someday I might even get around to adding at least some of them to the DG files.

Thanks Tropicanna. You did help.

No problem, but someone may add some other info, cause I sure don't know much :) good luck with the martagons, they're cool
