Was pleased to see this a.m. that these blooms had come up overnight. Guess conditions are ok for them in the green house
Greenhouse Hibs
Has it always been a single or is there a chance that it's really a double and it had just been blooming in singles for a while? I have Celia which is a double red one, and for a while this year it decided to bloom in singles instead of doubles. I don't know if it works in reverse too where sometimes singles will bloom double or not.
Its a cutting from the other Hib that is single (2nd pic)
Hi Placenciarita - your first picture looks like Rum Runner - does the bloom change color (looks like it in the picture) - not sure about the other two though. $5 - talk about an absolute STEAL!
2nd one might be Cherry Appaloosa http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/acatalog/cherryappaloosainfo.html
The pink looks a lot like my Satin Pillow sold to nurseries all over the country by Hines Horticulture . .

They are all pretty. You got a great deal, names or not.
Thank you all for your responses. I love these plants. rita
3rd one looks like "Liz". What a steal!!!! All are beautiful.
Home Depot had a ton of the Satin Pillow ones, a couple of months ago.
What a steal on those beauties! My bets are on the first one being Rum Runner, and I've to agree with Liz, that the 2nd one looks like Cherry Appaloosa to me too :-)
