Tangerines ripening up.
I was doing some yard work so a few pics from Sunday
Lucky me again. MGM has a kiddie disco after hours. The little one in the blue is Cameron dancing away the night.
Lucky you I seemed to have hit my picture limit for the moment, no idea why Dave's won't take more uploads.
Neat Mandarin orange. I have a tree but it has never produced fruit...yet. Our Meyer lemons tho, are about the same stage as your tangerines.
Love the matching T's. :) Actually looks like you were all having a pretty big time!
Deb
core,
where do you get the citrus? is this their first year in the ground? if not, how did they do last year? i have a refugee kumquat that is in the ground for the first time down here during the winter. what all citrus can we grow here?
I planted the citrus in March of this year. Everything was picked for cold hardiness. I got them from a guy named Ned Rahn up in Port Royal. Ned knows his fruit trees for this area and has a little nursery set up in his back yard but he also knows these guys very well. http://www.mckenzie-farms.com/index.htm Then all these people are all part of this group. http://www.sepalms.org/Hardy%20Citrus/SPS_SE_Citrus_Expo_2006_Results.htm
Notice who wrote the report.
I did a lot of research on fruit trees that grow around here last year. It's not as simple as I want that and you just stick something in the ground.
Forgot, if you have any specific questions after looking around those sites feel free to ask me.

ok thanks!
Ned's last name is spelled Rahn and he is in the book. He has a terrific variety of cold hardy citrus.
Wow, everything is just gorgeous. Especially the dancer, LOL I'm in love with your tree, but I don't think they'd make it here. Santa I want a greenhouse for Christmas!
