Hello all on here. I am so pleased with my epi this year that I had to boast a little. I have about 400 now , bought as a neglected and dying lot early this year. You would not know they are the same plants. There are about 20 going to flower. This one is my original that I have had for over 7 years from a little cutting. until it flowered I did not know what it was . It has no name but does look similar to Ackermanii I think.
It has over 70 buds and flowers like this every year. I have become a real lover of these plants and enjoy all your pics on here. Have a great day all.
The first of my flowers for the year.
Beautiful....you have it mastered....please check my thread right before this one asking for guidance on growing these wonders and verify I'm doing things properly....Thank you for your guidance....Deb
That is a beauty!
My first flower from the rescued epis I have .It has been quite a wait as the buds are slow to open. We have just had a few very warm days which would have helped. I have about 20 that are going to flower and even though some have no names , they are all beautiful.
This one is a gorgeous light orange and is about 5" across but not fully opened as yet.
Maybe someone could help with names as I post some of them as they open.
Happy gardening .
Hello everyone. I'm back with another epiphyllum pic. This one is very large and just came out overnight.
Have to rush as I am going out but had to put this beauty on Photos don't really show the color as it really is. This one has lipstick pink edges to the inner petals. The label said Hybrid Pink so it may be the right label on this one.
Happy day all.
