Hi everyone! I have some cuttings that a lady gave me that I am trying to root.
It is a trop. hibiscus but does anyone have a name for it?
I sure hope the cutting take:) Thanks!

Is it a true red? It's hard to tell with the lighting in pictures sometimes. I have a double red called 'Celia' so it could be that one, but some of the solid colored tropical hibiscus don't have names, so it could be one of the garden variety unnamed ones too. Either way it's pretty!

I would say it is "true" red not a Really dark red.

I have a Celia as well. It looks exactly like it.

I would guess there's a good chance it's Celia then, I think it's a fairly common one (I got mine at Home Depot).

If I'm not mistaken I got mine at Lowes or Home Depot as well. A beautiful flower, with a nice bushy growth, it has just bloomed happily all summer long and has about 3 blooms on it right now.

Yes it does seem to be common in my area. I have noticed a lot of people in La Porte have the plant as well. Very pretty though.
I think the cuttings are going well.
Thanks for the name:)
