sweet potato with caramel-pecan sauce

When I lived around Nashville TN, the women there would make this sweet potato dish. The potatoes were cooked, mashed with plenty of butter and piled in a dish. Then they made a well in the center and filled it with this sauce. When you spooned the sweet potatoes out, this wonderful caramel sauce oozed out and over your serving.

Please does anyone have this recipe? I'm having *dreams* about it.
