Philodendron 'Saturn'

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I got this a little while back at a plant sale. The guy that sold it to me - a philo collector - didn't really have any info on it. He just said it was an older hybrid.

It's a little larger than 'Xanadu' all the way around and the leaves are more uniformly notched, but otherwise very similar.

edited to add, I misnamed the thread title. This is Philodendron 'Jupiter', not P. 'Saturn'. Whole different planet. X^P

Here's the stem or trunk. The tag is about 3/4' wide.

Very pretty, Carter. I love all philodendrums. I just started collecting them.

That's lovely Carter, its giving me visions of an all Philo garden bed with the plants in graduated sizes from Xanadu on up - that would make a statement! I wonder if it's available here in Aus? By the way if you send a Dmail to Admin they will change the thread title for you, so as not to confuse people. TTFN. Kaelkitty.
