Planted two other clematis but this one took off and kept growing

Pretty sure this picture is Clematis terniflora, not C. ligusticifolia

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I can't see the blooms good enough to tell. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'd be happy to move the photo if we can get a positive ID on the plant.

The leaf margins (smooth, entire) don't appear to be toothed like Clematis ligusticifolia, that's what made me think this C. terniflora.

Thanks! That little bit of additional information made all the difference in helping to identify this. I hadn't noticed the leaves. The photo has been moved.
