Poor little Spike had emergency surgery for bladder stones last week :(
They sent the stones out for diagnoses, haven't heard back yet.
They said he would need to be on some bland canned dog food diet. Well that is not going to fly. Spike has what ever meat we have. It's always grilled, no oil or spices. I realize I need to supplement with vitamins. I just don't see how normal food could be the culprit? Dogs are carnivores. Any advice? Any one with dogs with bladder stones who have been successful with a diet that isn't some bland torture :(
