I AM SO EXCITED!!!! when i checked on my babies this morning, lo and behold, there is the start of a flower on the swedish modistens drom!!!!!! it is hiding under a leaf waiting for the right moment to make it's debut......oh how i need a camera to send you a picture!!!

yes,they are doing great....i did lose two of the smallest ones:(:(:( they are still in the pots, hoping they make a recovery....thankyou so much for introducing me to such a wonderful plant

Absolutely!!!! I keep checking all the other ones for blooms!!! (more than once a day, just in case i missed it the first time!) I have moved them from my plant room to the kitchen, on shelves on the side of my sink. They are under flourescent lighting and loving life.
LOL..Sounds like you are an Excellent AV Mommy..I might try moving more of mine into the kitchen for the winter.Right now they are on stands by my windows and I have a feeling they might get a bit chilly this winter. Last winter they really struggled in my drafty cold house : ( Kitchen life might be just the ticket..its the warmest room in the house during the winter...
mine too.....my house is also drafty, and i know that some plant don't like to get the shivers!!! they should make mini plant blankets for houseplants.
