Hi Everyone,
I just found this forum and signed up for it. You folks really seem to know a lot about birds; so I'm hoping you can help me identify this one. I've been watching and feeding the birds in my yard for a couple years now; but I've never seen one of these before.
Any info would be most appreciated.

Thank you both. I had thought maybe a robin; but the picture I found was the much darker male. Looks like this one was a female. Thanks again

Yes, It's an American Robin but I don't believe you can determine if it's a male or female from the picture. It's one of those "Northern" (unofficial name) Robins that we talked about in a different forum.

lol... When I looked at this before anyone posted I thought it looked like a Robin, But I thought that it couldn't possibly be if someone else wasn't sure. I guess I should learn to trust my judgement. :)
I'm already waiting to see the first Robin of spring. Let's just skip the cold and go right to spring. lol
