Strep seed trade?

Drumheller, Alberta, Canada(Zone 3a)

I have seeds from "Christmas Morning" available for trade.
I also have a no name seed from a strep that is light mauve with dark veining in a white throat. Wish I had taken a photo of it when it was in bloom!

I'm watching some seed pods that just came with some plants I ordered from Gail ........ if all goes well I'd love to trade some for either of yours. One of mine is a no name hybrid that Gail calls Strawberry Froth, very pink and pretty!

Here is a picture of it that Gail had sent..

I have been trying to catch the seed pods at the right time for 6 months!! I finally got a few seeds from Iced Pink Flamingo and the one I call Big Velvet Red.....don't ya just love my personal names for the streps.

I am going to try and grow these one time although I just potted up lots and lots of babies from seed that Snowrose sent me. I will have to go back through all my dmail with her to see who the 'mama' is. She also sent me seed from a Iced strep but...........of all the seedlings I got, only two are variegated from that bit of seed.

(I never got any bmedel from Strawberry Froth as I was always a day late)...........hope you get some seed from both of them that have pods.

********edited to say this is the one I call Big Velvet Red.........I have seeds from her that I want to plant

Gail,
what a lovely plant! Yes you can see the pods in that photo!
It looks a lot like Christmas Morning!
I have 2 little babies of Iced Pink Flamingo, that I started from a leaf. I had lots of babies but they didn't make it :(
I have since learned to keep the babies domed until they are established! The climate is too dry here for babies!

Brenda,
Crossing my fingers that the pods ripen! I would love to trade for a pink! Keep me posted! LOL

Here is my attempt to outwit the plant and get some seeds.....LOL This is Iced Pink Flamingo and the pod has turned brown but I don't know if it is brown enough as this is my first seed pod (thank you Gail!) so I put the envelope over it but left it attached to mom!

"Strawberry Froth's" pod is still green so I am letting it be for now....but when it starts to turn brown I'll get out another envelope! :0) I'll keep you posted Dawna....

I have taken seed pods off the plant while they are still not ripe, i put them on a piece of paper in my windowsill to dry & that works great for me. this way it does'ent spill back onto the plant.I have some texas twlight & self i can trade for xmas morning.
