Last year when I joined DG and had only 1 hoya Miss Kitty graciously sent me a whole collection of hoya cuttings. I can't tell yall how exciting it was to receive that box and scary at the same time. I had to look up each cutting because I knew nothing about them. I'm hoping this year to pass that gift on to a newbie that joins.

Ok, here are two of my five cats. The larger one was put to sleep in June, right before we left for our reunion...devastating really. But since there is "kitty" in the thread title, I think David had a splendid idea!!

Oh no, Susan, that was last winter. HA! Usually it does look like that by halloween though, and this year has been a really nice reprieve from the cold weather.

Hopefully throwing that statement out into the universe won't bring cold weather on us next week...

I let my subscription lapse because I was, frankly, tired of the accusations and implications by some members that I was the rotten robin (rumors, accusations, and innuendo do get back to those subject to them), so I decided that my money could be better used elsewhere. For these nicely gifted two months, though, I shall not allow myself to get overly-sensitive to hoya snobs nor wannabe vice-squads.

Thanks also, David, Marcy, and Jeri - you are lovely spirits to invite me back.

You guys would make a hilarious drive time radio show - with your mad poetry and cat-calls!!!
