This is one of the lastest horses we have gotten. She and her pasture mate were skin and bones and would have died this winter. We were the only people the guy would sell them to. Others really wanted them and had tried on numerous occasions to buy them (for much more than we paid) and he wouldn't sell. When he offered them to us we took them as a "rescue" situation so we could get them to something to eat. We have been able to get nice amounts of weight on them and they are happy. Very cooperative. Don't know much but that just takes time and patience. This one is a Kentucky Mountain / Saddlebred cross. She is a 5 year old and will be a nice racking horse.
