Gloriosa Lily, Berries on the vine (which hold the seeds). There is one seed per berry. I planted the whole berry, fresh off the vine. Germination in 30-45 days in very warm temps (80°F for lows).

thanks!

I have tried to grow this glorious flower twice and have had no luck when I lived in Ventura, CA and Bakersfield, CA. I don't know if I want to try it here in KY. But the pictures of the seed pods is great. I did not know it seeded this way. I wish more people would show pictures of the seed pods of their flowers. Thank you for the great picture.

Hi Marti,
These are tropical, I would have thought they would have been very happy in CA; in KY you would probably have to lift the tubers overwinter, as I don't think they are hardy there.

If you try them, put them in the warmest, sunniest place you have.
