Mark your calendar for tomorrow. :) I'll be speaking at the Antique Rose Emporium's fall festival at 1:30pm tomorrow. It should be a fun and dynamic presentation and I know many DGers are already planning to come. I hope you stop by after the presentation and say hello!
Antique Rose Emporium November 3rd!
That is great Dave!! I wish I could be there, will you be recording it on video to put on the site?
Josephine.
Dave, you are reading my mind! I was fixin' to post & ask who might be there tomorrow, besides you & me.
I have to be @ Ellison's GH for a meeting in the am but will be leaving as soon as they feed me, to come to ARE! lol
See ya in the Chapel! (Where the speakers, normally, speak)
:~)
I am hoping to be there. Depends on a project we need to get done this Saturday morning. They were talking about all the speakers that would be there on the TAMU-FM garden show this past Thursday. Sounds like a fun day...And the weather should be great for touring their gardens....
I was hoping to be there but unfortunately my parents had to make an unexpected trip back to Ohio this week to deal with some family issues. I am watching their house and animals over the weekend so I will be unable to make it. Record it if you can!
Sorry I missed that. I bet it was fun.:) We've been so busy I hardly even have a chance to sit down when I get home, much less sit at the computer. I usually sit to eat and then go to bed.
I had a really nice afternoon. Smockette was there too and we had a chance to connect.Dave and one of his lovely daughters visited for a while before they had to leave. I saw him loading up the back of a truck as I was leaving. Wonder what he got? There were lots of things that were very tempting. I didn't get any roses this time, but some perennials that were on sale. I was glad that Dave's Garden appeared to be of interest to those attending. There was a lot of knowledge among everyone there and it would be great to have them posting here on the site. nancy
Tea, he told me he had to take Trish some plants for being gone again! lol
Arlington on the 28th, ARE on the 3rd, & sure hope he makes it to CSRU tomorrow!
:~)
I attended the talk so had to check out the site. However, I was not among the knowlegable Having heard from an old friend (after posting ) who's a green thumb gardener, I am assured this is a great site. Thank you all for sharing.
Welcome, Rose.
Always nice to have another voice. Please feel free to add your 2 cents at any time.
