Because of all the rain and overcast skies, I was disappointed in most of my brugs this summer. Now that we're heading into chilly weather, they've started to bud out a bit.....should be ready to bloom about the time we have our first freeze!

mine are allways in bloom..from the time they start... one of the first... all the way to today... alwayswith afew blooms open.... I'd best be getting them inside though.... andI have to say... they smell about the best...strongest in the garden.. Gordon

it wasgreat... left andgot to NewOrleans for Halloween in the French Quarter..not for the modest or squeemish... I threw my timming belt... towed to VW where they wanted $5,200.00 to fix it's damage.. so I rentd a car and drove to mothers in north Alabama..to plant some of the things... then back here to NYC...had to turn on the buildings heat... and start to move all of the still heavily blooming things inside.... I sent 30 cuttings back to Pensicola to go on Freecycle there ..

yes.. and Harraras casino gave me a $500 ++ cash going away gift + a comp on the big breakfast.. as I was leaving the blackjack table about that time.. I got a place to drop in a used turbo engine for about 1/2 of rebuilding the broken one.. so that gift was about 1/6 th of my misery...
