Persimmon drop

Hi, What would cause persimmons to drop off the tree, half way through the season when they don't appear to be diseased, nor does the tree itself?

Immaturity of the tree, pollenation problems, over/under watering, not
saying nice things to the tree daily.

There are a multitude of possibilities.
