Are you brugs living in the lap of luxury this winter or stuck down in your dungeon? Can you share your brug's winter quarter photos?
Many of mine will bask in what winter sun there will in my new sunroom- here is the first occupant, a 2007 Inca Sun x l'amour seedling (2006 seed) who never got out of her pot. As you can see, we still have to paint this room completely - so I'm pushing it. The rest, cuttings and plants, will languish in the basement ............... I won't subject you to a photo of my "dungeon"!

Tonny, is that a form of moss growing on your roof? Whatever it is, I love it!

And, plenty of light you and your plants have, Joyce. What a nice room to enjoy during the cold winter months.
Tonny, do you have green dirt? If you do, that explains your wonderful plants.

Tony the roof on your green house looks like GRASS or moss or something other than soil.
It looks wonderful. What is it??? I have a sunny roof I have wanted to make a green roof. i struggle with the idea just because it means another "bed" to mange.
Your is my dream roof.
Soothing and green to look at.

jazzzy704, the Costco racks are wonderful and I even figured out what to do with the shelves I had to remove because the plants get too tall. I took those to the garden shed and hung them above the heater and that is where I put the trays that I am germinating plants in. It lets the heat flow up to the bottom of the trays.
How clever, happgarden! Those brugs look good sitting there;) Love your sunroom!
Ok.....for those of you keeping brugs over the winter in a greenhouse...What do you do to combat spider mites? I had cuttings in my greenhouse last winter, and then had an awful spider mite infestation that was on everything....even all my seedlings. I sprayed with horticultural oil but it didn't seem to make a dent. This year I am contemplating giving away those in pots just to keep them out of the greenhouse even though I don't want to get rid of them. Any suggestions?
Spray with Forbid or Avid before bringing inside.

Where do you purchase those?
AuntB, do you see the two you were so nice to share with me? They are doing good. They are in front of the doors in the front of the hibiscus.
