Paper, plastic tends to hold moisture.

Paper because crash is right it does tend to hold moisture. To me it isn't worth the trouble to use plastic.

My mother used both, so that's what I'm doing. Paper for the seeds (I downloaded one of the templates from this site, actually, to re-pack my seeds into). A large plastic bag to keep the packets in, with dessicant bags inside. If I need to be neat, I toss the bag into a shoebox and put it in a drawer - but hubby knows I'm never neat, so... *laugh*

Paper, in a plastic shoe box. I poked a few holes in the lid.

I use paper to collect and dry the seeds, and to store them long- term.

I use plastic to trade them AFTER I make sure they are completely dry. When I receive them in plastic, I put them into paper if I don't sow them all.

Again, I use the paper for storing long-term. And use silicia packets too inside the boxes that they are stored in since those are usually plastic and have lids.

I use plastic to send them in and put them in regular letter envelopes after I collect them and they are dry then they go into a shoe box until they are traded with their names on them, I use the silicia packets when they are in the box and the fridge too.

This year I'm looking for a source of paper seed envelopes to store them in in the fridge after I trade, I'm getting kind of tired of making the paper envelopes to store them in, not very good at it! lol

I like the cute little paper seed packets available under "Extras" I print them, then assemble them while my DH reads novels aloud. :-)

I get the little brown envelopes at Staples and use those. I guess they are coin envelopes.

I've heard of people using coin envelopes but wasn't sure of where to find them I'll check that out makshi, thanks! Not sure we have a staples around here in town but we do have an office depot.

I have swiched to glassine and really like it because you can see what is inside. You have to seal with a glue stick. I get them from Mystic stamp supply. 3 dollars for 100.

I forgot to say that the glue sick come in restickable glue so you can open them up get what you want out and out and seal them again. This is also good for the seed packets that you make off the patterns here on Daves. Use a regular glue stick to assemble them then when you get ready to fill them up seal them with the stick and restick glue.
